A transformative experience in the Himalayas
Three years ago, I went through a major turning point in my life. At that moment, I felt the need to better understand my mind and learn how to manage it when everything around me felt like chaos.
That is when I began to explore Buddhist philosophy. This path helped me find inner calm, clarity, and a different way of relating to my thoughts and emotions. Although my external environment was still uncertain, a space of peace slowly began to open within me.
From that moment on, Nepal started appearing constantly in my mind. It was no longer just a destination — it felt like a calling.
Over time, that desire grew stronger: I wanted to travel to Nepal, live in a Buddhist monastery, learn its teachings more deeply, and immerse myself in its culture.

Living Nepal from within: monasteries, culture and the Himalayas
Eventually, I decided to make the journey. And Nepal exceeded everything I had imagined.
The food is incredible — full of flavour and simplicity. The people are deeply kind, and the air carries a sense of calm that is hard to put into words.
During my stay, I had the opportunity to:
Listen to monks chanting mantras
Turn the Dharma wheel
Live in a Buddhist monastery
Feel the spiritual energy of the Boudhanath Stupa
Eat momos in lively, vibrant streets
Admire the breathtaking views of the Himalayas
Each experience brought me closer to a more conscious, simple, and present way of living.
In the mornings, I practiced yoga in front of the Buddha Stupa — a powerful experience that radiates deep peace and energy.
During one week, I had the opportunity to participate in a meditation retreat in a Buddhist monastery. There, I was able to go much deeper into Buddhist teachings, with several daily meditation sessions and the chance to experience first-hand what life as a Buddhist monk is like.
The peace, devotion, and wisdom that filled the atmosphere helped me reconnect with myself on a much deeper and more authentic level.

A journey of inner transformation
Nepal was not just a trip. It was a profound transformational experience.
Stepping out of my comfort zone, experiencing a different culture, and living in such a unique environment made me more aware, more grateful, and above all, braver. I learned to value what I have and to see life with more presence and less mental noise.
These kinds of experiences don’t only change what you see — they change how you see yourself.

Why I now organize retreats in Nepal
After living this experience, I felt the desire to accompany others on their own journey.
Today I organize retreats in Nepal for those who feel the call for disconnection, reconnection, and inner transformation. These journeys are designed to experience the country from within, combining:
Yoga and meditation
Life in Buddhist monasteries
Trekking in the Himalayas
Authentic cultural immersion
Spaces of silence and reflection
This is not just a trip to Nepal. It is a transformational journey in Nepal.

A spiritual retreat in Nepal to return to yourself
If you feel that calling, we are going in Easter 2027. You can find all the information here.
This is a journey to disconnect from external noise and reconnect with what truly matters. To pause, breathe, and remember what is important.
