Workshop 1: The Science of Yoga & the Brain (2h)

  • Understand your brain and nervous system 

  • Why yoga and mindfulness practices create real physiological and emotional change

  • Introduction to neuroplasticity

  • Recognize the connection between brain states, emotions, and movement patterns

Workshop 2: Yoga for Stress Regulation (2h)

  • Identify different nervous system states (fight, flight, freeze, safety) in yourself and others

  • Apply breathwork techniques to regulate stress and emotional states

  • Use yoga-based movement to support nervous system balance

  • Create simple practices to reduce overwhelm and improve clarity

Workshop 3: Yoga for Sleep & Deep Rest (2h)

  • Understand the science of sleep and how the nervous system affects rest and recoveryUse restorative yoga techniques to activate deep relaxation

  • Guide or practice Yoga Nidra for nervous system restoration

  • Apply tools to improve sleep quality and reduce physical and mental tension

Raquel Maitri

Raquel Maitri is a certified yoga teacher, passionate traveler, and biologist.

For years, she worked in a laboratory conducting cancer research. But everything changed when she discovered yoga and began traveling through Asia.

A deeper connection with herself revealed her true purpose: to guide others on both their inner and outer journeys — through yoga, meditation, mindful travel, and coaching — while integrating her strong foundation in science.
